Cara + James' Classic NYC Wedding

When we look at the paper goods we designed for Cara and James' classic NYC wedding, we see more than the falling blossoms motif, a neutral color palette and a studied mix of fonts -- we relive the story of Cara and James' engagement. As avid runners and long-time residents of the Upper East Side, Cara and James were regulars in Central Park, logging many miles on the pavement and dirt paths. We love that James chose their oft-frequented running trail, under the cherry blossom trees on the Bridle Path in Central Park, as where he would ask Cara to be his wife. We wove that narrative through all their paper goods, with the letterpress printed cherry blossoms speaking to that special day when James got on one knee and asked Cara those 5 life-changing words: "Will you be my wife?"

Keeping true to their NYC story, Cara and James tied the knot at the stunning Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola on Park Avenue and 83rd Street and continued the celebration at the New York Athletic Club, a storied NYC venue that sits at the base of Central Park. We've posted a few photos of this classic New York wedding below but click through to our Bespoke section to see the full gallery.
