Let them eat wedding cake...
Every week I head to the local B&N and grab every bridal magazine I can find. The first section I flip to is the cake section. When I picked up the Fall 2012 edition of the knot, I was thrilled with the featured cake edits. Below are my top three wedding cake designs in no particular order. What are yours?
As featured in the Fall 2012 edition of the knot.
Sweet and Saucy Shop Hailed as one of California’s sweetest dessert shop, each wedding cake has a touch of personality reflecting each client. I absolutely love the cartoon painted cake and the second cake's doily adds extra sweetness.

Erica OBrien Cake DesignOriginally from New York, OBrien relocated to Connecticut to establish herself as a leading cake designer. I love the solid white layers adorned with soft pastels and florals. The gold zig zag design on the right cake is a brilliant idea to add some pop!

Maggie Austin Cake Based in Washington, D.C.-I love the floral watercolor technique and paper thin ruffles outlining each layer. There are so many details involved in the composition of these cakes!
